Santos reject FC Porto's bid for Ganso

Primeira Liga giants reportedly made a bid for Santos star Ganso but the Brazilian club have rejected the offer, labeling it as ‘comical’.

However Vila Belmiro chief, Luis Alvaro Ribeiro, claims that the offer made by the Dragons was comical and it was far below their €50 million evaluation of the player.
"We have no interest in opening talks with what was offered. Proposals like these are comical, not to say tragic.”
He also added that his side would never accept the proposal and will respond by formally declining it on Monday.

With a move for Ganso ruled out, FC Porto will now turn their attention to former player Lucho Gonzalez, who can be acquired on loan till the end of the campaign.
