Danijel Pranjic could be on his way out of Allianz-Arena during winters – Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich winger has revealed his intention of leaving the club at the end of this season. The winger has had a difficult 2011/12 campaign so far where he hasn’t had enough opportunities under Jupp Heynckes.
Pranjic’s teammate, Ivica Olic, also confirmed about the player’s troubles and his plans of parting ways with the club.
The Croatian international told that it has been extremely difficult to get into Bayern’s starting XI this season which is becoming a cause of frustration. The 29-year-old believes that it would be better to play for some other side, where he would receive
more first team opportunities.
Pranjic’s contract will expire at the end of this campaign after which he is likely to depart from Allianz-Arena. The player also confirmed his plans and at the same time wished the Reds all the very best this term.
The Croatian claims that Bayern have been in sublime form this season and have hardly been threatened by any opposition since getting beaten by Borussia Monchengladbach during the opening week. He also reserved praise for his current manager despite not
being given regular chances in the starting XI.
Danijel’s teammate mentioned that the winger wants to get more first team action under his belt and is most likely to leave the club.
While talking to local press regarding Pranjic’s potential departure, the striker enthused, “It is definitely no easy situation for Danijel. I have told him that he should not give up. He needs to go on working hard in training and giving his very best in
those sessions. Bayern Munich is a big club, we are playing a lot of competitive matches. We almost have a match every three days. He needs to believe in his chance regarding the first team."
Pranjic tied knots with the German giants in 2009 and since then has made 48 league appearances, bagging a solitary goal during the process.
He earned his debut in 2004 and is yet to open his account for his country having already played 39 games until now.
