  1. Yes, I worked in the DRC for many years and got to marry there 10 years ago with a Congolese woman.

    It is a wonderful country, inhabited by wonderful and most friendly people.

    There is a very high rate of unemployment and petty theft is quite common. Dont show expensive stuff and keep an eye on your belongings at all times.

    I lived in Lubumbashi (eastern Congo), Kinshasa and the Lower (Western Congo). Enjoyed every minute of my stay.

    This country has bitten me and I look forward to an opportunity to return.
