Though, they remained at the lower end in the opening set but next two segments saw them at the top of their game.
They faltered in the beginning and allowed their competitors to gain an early advantage with 3-6 but still they managed to stay close until 9-11 before the interval.
The scratch pair of Henry and Yuan, who belong to Chinese Taipei and USA respectively, made the difference immediately after the break and got into commanding position with 16-13 total.
They maintained their upper hand all the way to game point situation and bagged first set with 21-17 score on the board.
However, it was their last success in this contest as Roberto-Franklin stormed back with a strong reply in the following game.
They set the foundation of their dominance with four uninterrupted rallies and strengthened their grip by registering 11-7 margin.
After one-minute break, they lost focus for a short span of time which resulted in 16-14 total but a couple of productive rallies helped them to reinstate the supremacy.
The Guatemala campaigners finished second set with a significant figure of 21-18 and setup a nerve-racking decider.
They gathered six valuable points in a row and reached a dominating position of 11-4 before the mid-game break.
They did not drop their pace in the second half and locked the honour with an overwhelming score of 21-9. It will be interesting to see if the team can carry their winning momentum forward and put in a good performance.
