Massage before track and field event?

like long distance running like a quick neck rub or full body rub down will it make me to relaxed? just wondering never had it done before




  1. Massage can be an effective part of your pre-race warm up.  You can find a trained sports massage therapist here

    Just be sure to try it out during training first, nothing new on race day.

  2. If you are going to get a massage be certain it is a sports massage therapist who knows what they are doing.

    There is a big difference between a Swedish massage and a sports massage, and there is a big difference with a before event and an after event sports massage.

    If it is done correctly it will help your performance.
