Paris Saint-Germain envoy to meet Beckham – Ligue 1 news

Beckham’s contract with Major League Soccer outfit expires at the end of the American season, which runs until November 20.  
PSG sporting director Leonardo had previously revealed, in an interview with BBC, that the doors of Parc des Princes are open should the playmaker wish to join the capital club. hopes that the veteran playmaker would evoke an overwhelming desire
to win, a quality that is lacking since the departure of Claude Makelele. 
According to French publication, Le Parisien, PSG’s entourage will meet the former Manchester United man on October 5, 2011, to convince him to join Parc des Princes. The publication further reported that Les Parisiens are expected to offer a contract with
a salary of at least equal to that of (4 to 5 million Euros) for a period of 1.5 years.
The former captain is a target of various English Premier League sides, the most prominent being Tottenham Hotspur. The England international was close to a loan transfer to White Hart Lane last season, but a deal could not be finalised.
Paris Saint-Germain can count on an ally as’s wife, Victoria Beckham, has already revealed her desire of moving to Paris. The capital club hope to get a final answer by October 15, 2011.
Although Leonardo will not accompany the Qataris on the trip to, Brazilian has prior acquaintances with Beckham at AC Milan. It is rumoured that QSI might also offer the position of captaincy to the 36-year-old at the capital club, given his vast
experience at international and domestic level.
With Beckham near to drawing curtains on his phenomenal career, it remains to be seen at which stage does the former AC Milan man chooses to stand in the twilight of his career.
While Tottenham seem favourites to acquire Beckham as he had previously trained at White Hart Lane during the off season of MLS, the cash-laden PSG offer financial benefits to the playmaker that might be impossible to ignore.
Furthermore, the prospect of living in one of Europe’s most famous cities could also tempt Beckham into moving to the metropolitan city.
