David Beckham hints at possible move to Paris Saint-Germain – Ligue 1 news
Former Manchester United star and England captain, has said that he would be interested in a move to cash-laden Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
The 36-year-old is currently in the final year of his contract at MLS franchise LA Galaxy and it has been reported that the midfielder is keen on making a return to European football. PSG sporting director, Leonardo is a keen admirer of the Englishman with
whom he worked with during his time as the coach of AC Milan.
English Premier League sides, Tottenham and Queens Park are also keen on the services of the former Real Madrid man but it seems that Beckham’s attentions are directed towards Paris where he might be  offered a lucrative contract.
Though LA Galaxy are keen on renewing Beckham’s contract, it seems that the player himself is itching for a move away from the MLS Franchise as he ventures to feature in the side that would play in the London Olympics in 2012.
Though Tottenham have been following the super star for a long time, PSG’s ability to fulfil Beckham’s financial demands would lure the midfielder to the Parc des Princes. Furthermore, is also looking to boost the marketability of PSG as a globally
famous club and bringing in Beckham might just be the tool that would make PSG one of the most exciting clubs in the world.
While talking to the media, Beckham said, “Yes, I think it’s really exciting! And there are great things happening in France and in several clubs. It’s an exciting time, Leonardo joined them and they club has money,” admitted the Englishman while talking
to the media. man is a big fan of the one-time Champions League winner with Manchester United and has said that Beckham’s
arrival would be a welcoming change.
Furthermore, Beckham’s arrival would definitely add a lot of glamour to a club that is keen on rubbing shoulders with the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, and AC Milan in the coming years.
