Legendary batsman’s domestic events – Cricket News Update

Pakistan’s former captain, Mohammad Yousuf, who recently announced retirement from all forms of cricket, has been receiving many offers from the country’s domestic ranks.
In this regard, The Lahore City Cricket Association’s (LCCA) President, Khawaja Nadeem, has revealed that they have requested the former middle-order batsman, Yousuf, to represent their regional team in the forthcoming domestic
season, and the master batsman has showed willingness to make a come back.
“I have been in contact with Yousuf and he is returning on September 11 with a positive frame of mind and will be taking part in domestic tournaments,” Nadeem said.

“Yousuf feels that he can play at the top level for another year or so, which is why he has decided not to hang up his boots despite calls that he has crossed his peak years,” he added.
Earlier, Nadeem showed great confidence on the Pakistan’s former skipper, termed him as a great batsman, and refused Yousuf’s retirement decision.

The Sports Manager of the ZTBL,, cited that the legendary batsman, Yousuf, has always been phenomenal with his batting recital, called him as Pakistan’s best batsman, and denied to believe on his retirement’s news.
Masood said that the inclusion of the experienced batsman would be great for their team, showed his strong desire to have Yousuf in the ZTBL’s team.
“The bank intended to hire him but failed to establish any contact with him,” he had quoted.
Earlier, the head of sports of Wapda, Naveed Akram Cheema, who has recently taken the responsibility of the team Pakistan’s manager, also wanted Yousuf to take his retirement back.
