0 LIKES UnLike has revealed that he is a 100% behind manager Andre Villas-Boas, denying all rumours of unrest in the dressing room.
The 34-year-old manager replaced the older and experienced Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti at Stamford Bridge in the summer. Since his arrival he has set about to make various changes at the club, some of which have not seemed to have settled in too well with the players.
There were reports that the players at the club were unhappy with the manager and wanted his removal as soon as possible. Especially since Villas-Boas had failed to deliver favourable results in the unexpected first half of the Premier League season.
It was believed that this was the reason scored against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, Terry denied the reports and claimed that he was fully behind the manager and had no problems with his management. The international was confident the Blues would be successful under the Portuguese manager.
Terry said in an interview:
“I want to make it clear I'm 100% behind the manager. There are no problems behind the scenes.”
He continued:
“He has come in and changed a lot of things at the football club, not only on the football pitch but on the training ground as well.”
Apart from the players, Terry revealed the owner Roman Abramovich was also fully supportive of Andre Villas-Boas. He denied reports that the Russian billionaire was considering sacking the former boss if he failed to deliver silverware in his first season with the club.
Terry revealed:
“Roman [Abramovich] is fully behind him, the club as well, and he is making these changes, not for the short term but for the long term as well. He is going to be the man in charge and we all have to respect his decisions. He has been very up front with all of us so we can't argue with what he's done.”
