Fishing in the puget sound?

im going fishing for salmon of the fox island pier and was wondering what to use and where to cast it. what kind of fish do they have on that pier?

I don't know about that pier, but I have caught salmon by casting Pixie spoons and fairly good sized spinners from river banks.    Herring are also good baits for salmon.
