CSKA Moscow’s Zoran Tosic praises teamwork against Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian premier league
CSKA Moscow ace, Zoran Tosic, had a wonderful match against Lokomotiv Moscow in round 15 of the Russian premier league. The youngster bagged a goal and provided an assist in what was an accomplished performance.
The Serbian national led his team to victory against their fierce rivals in front of the home fans at Luzhniki Stadium., the leading goalscorer for the Russian club, opened the scoring early on but the heated derby saw an equaliser from Jan Durica. Doumbia bagged another goal to claim a brace and Tosic struck the third goal, cementing the win for the home team.
The highly-rated midfielder, who won the Russian cup with the red blues, has revealed the importance of the early goal in the derby which gave the home side a lot of confidence. He further explained that he had enough time to score the goal; he would have
passed the ball to another player had it been otherwise.
“In this case, the time to strike was sufficiently comfortable, and I struck without hesitation. I am glad that this tactic has brought results”. A visible happy Tosic claimed.
The 24-year-old winger revealed that it was a hard fought match, as the impact of a derby is different and above all the games played in the Russian premier league. He also appreciated the support from the home fans.
The Serbian national, who made a high profile move to Manchester United in the English Premier League, revealed that the army men need to win against to enjoy their vacations; they travel to the Zvezda Stadium before the Championship break.
The army men are currently at the top of the Russian premier league table, two points above Zenit St. Petersburg and four points above Rubin Kazan. The red blue boast an immaculate as they have conceded only 11 goals, while their offence has been
equally impressive with the likes of Vagner and Tomas Necid taking to the pitch.
