Boyfriends 30th bday...what to do??

for my cousin's birthday, his wife had a big bbq at their house and had it as an open house so guests could come & go as they pleased... they had things for cousins/kids to do in the back yard as well as mixed drinks for the adults... it was really relaxed & fun!

Do you live in New York?  If you do, have a surprise birthday party for him on the roof.  Get a bunch of tiki torches and a ton of string lights and if you can make a CD of music he likes.  Plenty of food and drinks and after the party if all goes well you can give him the happy, happy birthday gift ;)  Have fun what ever you do!

maybe a little surprise get together a one of his favorite restaurants?  we did this for my aunt's 30th and she loved it.  very small, like 15 close friends and family... what a great way to ring in a milestone birthday!

Give him something in the sack that he's always wanted but you never would do... he will remember that much longer than any cologne or jewelry you could buy him!

You could do lot's of things. You could do a suprise b-day! When I had my suprise birthday, I was crying from joy! It was the best experience or best birthday ever! Or if you aren't that good at keeping secrets, you could do a little get-together. Invite all of his friends are close family members have a cute little BBQ. Get a DJ to play his favorite music. Or you can just do some simple birthday. Go to restaurant, just the 2 of you and hang out. Or go to the movies and watch a movie he likes. Do something that he likes and something that will make his birthday the best yet. Tell him I said Happy Birthday, good luck and hope I've helped! &hearts

What does he like? We don't know him so we can't really be very specific with our help. But has he ever talked about something not too pricey he has always wanted to do? Or something that he used to be into, but hasn't done for a while? Go with something like that.
