 Dogs are known for its speed and most of them can reach speeds of up to 20miles per hour which is quite impressive. It has abundance of breeds but the selected few are the best.

* Vizsla- a hunting dog and can run at an estimated 25mph

* Australian Kelpie- known for high jumps as far as 2.95meters and speed at 28mph

* Rat Terrier- Used for vermin control, hunting animals like hares and squirrels

* Great Dane- has an enormous size and reach speed of 29mph, nicknamed the gentle giant

* Borzoi- have a shorter coat and weigh closer to 100 pounds

* Whippets- reach speeds of around 40mph and are quick at accelerating

*  Greyhound- takes the top spot with a full speed of 43mph, built for sprinting.
