The Irish band U2 releases a new song via their Facebook
U2 has released through his Facebook a new theme, called Ordinary love , which will be part of the soundtrack of the film Mandela : Long walk to freedom . The band maintains relationship with Mandela for years , they say on their website, which also explains that this song was inspired watching movie clips . "When I asked them to consider the possibility of writing a song for the movie , I got the " yes "faster than I have received in life.
U2 formally announced the launch of their new album next February during the Super Bowl (one of the most watched television events in the world) . The continuation of his latest work to date, that no line on the horizon of 2009 , is expected in April, according to Billboard revealed .
On the next album U2 bassist Adam Clayton recently revealed in a radio interview that they were working with producer Danger Mouse to finish a total of 12 tracks , with the intention of getting everything ready before Christmas. Clayton also revealed that the album's sound is an "interesting hybrid" between the sound of the old U2 , mixed with the maturity they have acquired during the last decade.
