Why women dont admit their age ?

Maybe if they admit their age, they feel older thus less confident about themselves. If they trick themselves into being younger they feel better about their appearance and being.

There is a great deal of stigma and discrimination based on one's age. Last week, I read an article about people who were laid off from their job, and sought plastic surgery in order to improve their chances of getting hired. The unfortunate thing was that they were probably right. Employers can't ask one's real age, but do interview and often make decisions based on perceived age. With so much at stake, it is not suprising that some people (men and women) do not admit their age.

It's about not feeling comfortable with answering a question that does not matter really and serves no other purpose except to "define" you or judge you or measure you along weird meaningless subjective acculturations that divide us.  Those are NOT innocent questions above.  Eeeeeeeeeeeew.
