Why can I only put 3 pictures and my avatar in my 360 profile?

This is in the "personal photos", not in "share a photo"

All the photos I'm trying to upload are less than 5MB, but I can only put up ANY 3, plus the avatar. Am I supposed to be able to upload 4?

You can also add pictures to your blog.

You can eliminate the avatar to put a 4th.  That's what I did.  It doesn't affect using the Yahoo! Avatar here.  It's only other images if you're not using that one, that you need on 360.  I keep the 4 on 360, but I keep others I might use in a folder on my computer.  So when I want to use a different one here, I remove one and add the one I want to use.

Yes - checked it out and seems you can do it by deleting your Avatar - give it a try -

We lost that 4th slot around the time they started the Mash project. I am guessing but I think they needed the storage space for the Mash thing.. I repeat I am guessing! lol

If you want to use that fourth slot for ID pictures then remove your avatar from the list there. I don't feel the need to use the fourth slot so I just use the two personal photos and leave the avatar.. it is just convienent when I want to edit the avatar to have that link close at hand.

But since you do not use your 360 for anything other than personal Id photos .. the avatar will still be available to you here on answers with the option they have for it here and you can have four photos there at 360.
