Which new franchise teams will join the IPL in 2011? A tender inviting bids for the new franchises was floated earlier in the year.

    The new teams will be Pune and Kochi. The Sahara Adventure Sports Group won the bid for Pune for US$370m and Rendezvous Sports World Limited won the bid for Kochi at US$333.33m.
