What is the most reliable site to look for a property for rent

Question

I am planing to move on Jan-01, and tried a lot of clasified and sites before but I always was mislead. The places do not exist or don't have the amenities or the price I was looking for. I have 1 dog and I looking for a place with a little back yard, hookups 1 or 2 bedrooms. Please help.

is the best. If your not in Australia then just go into it and click on diff countries. it helps for all over the world.

It really is a great site, I looked thru it when I moved to Canada for a year..

I rent my apartment. usually the clasified ads are very accurate. you may have a problem finding an apartment most people don`t allow pets. I used to but the dog put a large whole in my wall and other damage because he was left alone too much. I won`t take anymore chances on my home being destroyed but good luck to you.

The best way is to just get in your car, and drive to the location you desire, and the types of neighborhoods you are willing to live in. Then drive, drive, drive. And just search for those empty places! Sometimes if you come across an empty house, with no signs, go to the tax office and find out who pays taxes on it, then call them to see if they would consider renting it to you.

I think it depends on where you want to live at.  But some websites that I think are great and usually have nice pictures are

www.craigslist.com

www.rent.com

www.apartments.com

Also try your county or city website depending on how big your town is, they usually have listings or links. Also depending on your price range it could pontenially be harded with what you want. You might have to go up an extra $100 because of the dog or the 2 bedrooms. Good Luck, and have a safe move!
