Late July.

No one in my family has a birthday, so I usually get to have a little money and holiday and enough free time in the afternoons to act domesticated in the garden.  Hanging out the curtains on the line, BBQ's, picking flowers for the house, lounging in warm fresh air filled with the fragrance of night scented stock and watching the pond skaters, as I sip a cool drink and ponder.

I love the end of spring/early summer. I enjoy being able to wear flip-flops, the knowledge that school is ending for 10 weeks, and taking long walks at night with sunset being so much later.
