Thomas Kessler loan journey continues as he joins Eintracht Frankfurt – Bundesliga News

as a perfect fit for their side and the club also has an option to extending terms with the shot-stopper.
Kessler’s arrival at Commerzbank-Arena did not only excite the officials, the player himself was pleased to have signed with the Eagles. He claimed that he would do his level best to lead his side back into the top division. The Eagles got relegated at the
end of 2010/11 season along with Borussia Monchengladbach and Kessler’s former club, St. Pauli.
The shot-stopper, though, had a decent campaign with the Pirates of the League but the rest of the squad failed to pull up their socks, leading to the humiliating drop. The Eagles http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bruno-c8098 Hubner, was elated with the arrival of the talented
goalkeeper and wished him success for the rest the upcoming season.
Hubner also hinted to his desire of signing Kessler on a permanent basis and further added, "Thomas has a safe pair of hands, he had a very good season at St. Pauli and in terms of his character he will also fit in very well at Eintracht."
Frankfurt manager, Armin Veh, also expressed delight at the arrival of the 25-year-old but refrained from pondering over his future in terms of first-team chances. It is believed that the shot-stopper would eventually end up cementing his place in the line-up
with not much of a struggle.
Kessler started his playing career with 1. FC Koln as a member of its http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 in 2000 and gradually found his way into the club’s second string side in 2004. There he managed 45 appearances before shaking hands with Koln’s senior side in 2007. He made
11 appearances before starting his loan journey, firstly with FC St. Pauli and will now keep gloves for Eintracht Frankfurt in the upcoming season.
