I want to go ahead and get the nursery ready but since i want the s*x to be a surprise for both my hubby and i. I was wondering what are the best colors you can find for both sexes and not feel like your leaning one way or the other?

anything really, except for blue or pink.

I would go for a light green, yellow, or purple.

but if you are into the modern, black white and an additional bright color would be nice too

They have some sets out now that are a beige/tanish color.  They are pretty neutral and look very cute!  Then once you know you can add in another pastel color if you like!  I've seen a set at Sears in the neutral colors and is something I've considered myself!  Good luck!

A light creamy yellow with hearts and stars around the edge would be love for a boy an girl. The hearts and starts could be in a rainbow kinda order ( read heart to orange ect.) Or even green designs would work too. also, if you do go with a yellow please, please, do not choose a bright yellow! it will irritate the h**l out of you. a creamy light yellow ( not off white ) with a hint of either orange or green / something

I am planning on a very light yellow.. I love ducks, so that will prob. be the nursery theme.. I also like a light green.. almost a minty color.

Green and yellow, both pastel, are good and neutral.

Yellow and green are the common neutral colors. I picked out my nursery before we know what we were having, and it is Yellow, pale blue and green. it just depends on what you like. don't worry to much about this is a boy color and this is a girl color, I would say just stay away from bright colors.
