Stretches for really bad hip pain?

Are there any stretches/exercises I could do for really bad hip pain? or anything that will at least take away the pain for bit? I've tried ice packs,heating packs, bengay,but nothing is helping it.. Its to the point where the pain is more frequent and hurting a lot more. I dont have time for PT like my Dr recommended because i'm in school full time and work when i'm not in school.

Any steretchs?

  1. You should treat the current pain first before going for hip stretches.

    This is because if you don't thorougly heal the current injury, the stretches gonna make it worse.

    So, in the mean time, rest is the best medicine for you and you should get plenty of them.

    Until and unless your hips are fully recovered, don't do exercise or stretches.

    When your hips are sufficiently recovered, then do these 2 hip routines, one for stretching, the other for strengthening your hips:

    P/S: If after resting and still no improvement, it's better you go for PT. Hip pain is no small matter, so be careful.....
