In the form for renewing your Indian passport they ask for 2 relatives/friends addresses. Do these have to be Indian addresses or American?

  1. They have to be two people you trust with your life and will take care of you if you are injuried or you die overseas. Choose people who have a bit of funds and whom you know will take care of you.


  2. Relative wherever located whether in India or America as long as they are your direct relatives up to the third degree of consanguinity.
