Racing Club offer FC Porto Matias Martinez in exchange for Iturbe loan

Argentine side Racing Club have reportedly offered FC Porto Matias Martinez in exchange for Juan Manuel Iturbe’s loan deal. Pereira’s team were allegedly on the hunt for a centre-back as they looked to sign a cover for Rolando and Nicolas Otamendi. The club had their sights set on Racing Club’s Matias Martinez; however the Argentine outfit refused to let the player leave.
Porto tried their best to convince the Academy but to no avail. So the Portistas turned their attention to other targets but in a recent turn of events, Racing have put forward a deal which should prove to be beneficial to both the concerned parties.
Sky Blue International Juan Iturbe, who signed for the Portuguese giants last year is set to be farmed out on loan in order to gain experience. Although the youngster is labeled as the ‘new Messi’, he has been unable to feature much for the first
team due to the presence of stars such as and Kleber.
There are reported to be offers from the English Premier League for the 18-year-old but his father claims that he should head back to Argentina and play for Racing Club, where he will be able to get some much needed playing time.
Speaking to reporters, he said that his son was unable to feature at Estadio do Dragao on a consistent basis and that he was seeking a loan deal in order to hone his talents.
"My son has not been playing regularly at Porto. We know of Racing's interest from the papers and we are looking for a solution, a loan spell so that he can play.”
He also added that he would like to see the formerño-c38775 man ply his trade at Estadio Juan Domingo Perón and revealed that his son was a fan of the club.
"I would like to see my son play in] goes through. My son is a fan of Racing,” Del Carmen was quoted as saying.
Racing Club have strengthened their case with comes in the opposite direction albeit on a loan deal.
The Dragons will be tempted by the offer as they would be able to solve two major problems with one throw of the dice. Currently the club are looking to send their talented starlet on loan and in they have the ideal destination, which the player
favours as well.
Secondly, they would be able to acquire Matias and Nicolas Otamendi.
