  1. I would say diving.  Try tennis, it's a lot of fun!

  2. i am a gymnast and dancer and i also play soccer. it gives you an advantage as a gymnast to be strong and quick on the field.

  3. acrobatics dancing would be good if you are good at floor routenes

  4. Capoeira... it is like gymnastics, martial arts and dancing... brazilian... try it!

  5. alot of sports!!!!!!! dancing because you could add cool flips and stuff! :)

almost every sport because gymnastics get's you in shape to do almost any sport!

    good-luck and hope i helped! :)

  6. In my experience, if your an athlete, you can play any sport you want. This guy I know named Randal, never put on a helmet and shoulder pads on IN HIS LIFE, and now he is starting at Slotback and Free Safety on our Varsity Football Team.

  7. gymnasts can easily transition to...

    - dance (lyrical, hip hop, jazz, etc.)

    - ballet

    - acrobat

    non-dance related sports...

    - high jump (track & field) especially because of their flexibility in gymnastics, i would highly recommend high jump

    - track- pole vault, hurdles, possibly long jump & triple jump

    - running & swimming

You should try lots of different sports to see what you like the best =) I did ballet, then gymnastics, then cheerleading (while playing soccer & taekwondo(martial arts) & swimming) and now i'm on a cross country running team =)

    - Nickname Lola

  8. A lot of high level gymnasts have switched to diving after retiring or in college. Annie Fogerty did this, and has had a lot of success.

  9. Try pole vaulting!!  It's really fun, and gymnasts are awesome at it!  The motion is exactly the same as a kip, a tap swing or a free hip.  Our pole vaulting coach actually recruits gymnasts and our whole girls team is former level 7-10 gymnasts.  You will catch on in a snap and be winning all your meets in no time.  It's so much fun!  Plus, you'll get to work out with the guys, and guy pole vaulters are usually pretty hot!  =]
