On a skateboard do u hav to put the griptape on or they put it on for u?

most skate shops online or not, give you the option. but yes in a way they cut it to make it fit but not exactly like you might think. all griptape comes like a big rectangle to fit most board shapes. they ust put the entire thing on and then they use a metal thingy to rub the outline of the deck out and then they cut out the excess griptape. just look on youtube and you can see what i mean. the only good thing about putting your own griptape on is if you want to like, cut out certain parts of it to make a design or something like that.

I'm sure they can put it on for you, but my brother usually puts it on himself.

i think at good skate shops if you ask they will put it on for you. i have see it done
