Ok what am I doing wrong. (good with computers ppl please)?

Question

I just learned how to put a picture onto my 360

so, when I went to put it for my yahoo answers picture it doesnt work. I have tried multiple pictures..... and it shows up on my 360

something wrong? I clicked use 360 Picture

the picture is off of My Pictures and i copied the picture from yahoo image results

its of Nick (jonas :P LOL) if it helps????

You're probably not doing anything wrong. The image link between Y!360 and Y/A is historically buggy. If your image is showing on Y!360 just fine and you have tried to get it to show on Y/A, there may be a delay of days or weeks. It depends on what's going on. But typically, you just have to change the settings to what's necessary and be patient. Also, it helps to search the Y/A forum (http://suggestions.yahoo.com/?prop=answe... ) to see if the issue is being addressed or if others are having the same problem.

Here are the basic instructions, so make sure that you've followed them:

Make sure a JPEG formatted photo (with .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe extension) under 5MB is saved to your hard drive.

- Click your "My Page" link at the top

- Click "Edit Profile Photos" over the empty picture frame

- Click "Browse" and upload photo into an empty field. Then click one "use as primary" radio button on the right before saving.

You can't upload more than 4 profile pictures (this includes an avatar). Make sure that you are following the 360 Personal Photo guidelines here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui... .

Then, come back to Yahoo! Answers. Click the "My Profile" link to the upper right of this Yahoo! Answers page, then click "Edit My Info" in the top left box on the Answers profile page. Scroll down to the image section and check the option of showing the 360 picture. Click Preview and then the OK button.

Then, wait. Your image will be a blank one until the system updates it.

Im having the same issues...

When you click "use Yahoo 360 picture", youre not really using that picture - its taking you to Yahoo's site directory instead of 360 (which is where I tried to load a picture, but it still didnt work either....) However, if you click "get my Yahoo 360 account now!", it will take you to 360 Home Page and ask you to Get Started.

My issues is that whenever I hit Get Started, it keeps bringing me back to the same d**n page over and over...

So, the problem is Yahoo, not you...

If you have marked it as primary and it shows up as the main picture on 360 then go to "My Profile" "Edit My Info" in Yahoo Answers and see if the choice is there. If not then give it a few days.
