Colorado Avalanche beat Atlanta Thrashers 4-2
The 421st game of the 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series was played at the Philips Arena, home of the Atlanta Thrashers. The match was played as the home team was up against the Colorado Avalanche. The away side was
definitely the stronger of the two keeping in the mind their recent form. This was the Colorado Avalanches 28th game of the season while the Atlanta Thrashers played their 29th.
The Atlanta Thrashers made a brilliant start to the match as they came up with strong shots. Not only this, their passing was pin point that often found them scoring opportunities. The home team took advantage of this and scored

The final 20 minutes of play saw the Colorado Avalanche come up with another dominating performance. They successfully took the lead scoring in the first minutes of the period. The goal was scored by Milan Hejduk.
Colorado successfully sealed the match with the final goal of the period in the final minute. The goal was scored by Paul Stastny from a decent shot that won Colorado the match 4-2.
The final period saw the Colorado Avalanche making 5 goal attempts while the Atlanta Thrashers made 12.
