The problem is that there was a inspection done and there are problems with leaks under the apartments, so the landlord is being fined and willn't fix anything. He says that the city is making him give tenants notices, and that there are no leaks which there are, he just doesn't want to fix anything. The city told me that he is vounteering to tear down the proerty, and he says its not true. I'm not sure if the city is trying to get us out so they don't have to pay for the costs of us to move or if the landlord is lying so much cause he doesn't want to help tenents move. City says he the landlord is responable for tenents for 30 days after the notice. Basically, can anyone help or have advice on what to do.

  1. go to housing court and state your case. a judge or mediator will decided if your landlord is right or wrong and give you options as a tenant.

  2. I'd talk to the City Atty's office
