Liverpool’s Jamie Carragher hails impact of Luis Suarez – English Premier League news
Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has hailed the impact of teammate Luis Suarez since his arrival from Ajax Amsterdam in the January transfer window. He claimed that the Uruguayan’s consistent performances could make him a legend at Anfield.
Luis Suarez joined Liverpool in a move worth 22.8 million pounds in January this year and has been a revelation ever since. The striker has been instrumental in the club’s resurgence under manager Kenny Dalglish and has chipped in with some match winning
performances.
Carragher stated that if Suarez keeps playing like the way he did against Fulham on Monday, he would go onto become a legend even bigger than him. He praised the striker’s ability and admitted that he was surprised how fast the forward has adapted to English
football.
“If he [Suarez] keeps playing like that I think he'll be a bigger legend than I'll ever be. He looks a really top player, he plays for the team. It shows he's adaptable and versatile, he can do different jobs for the teams,” the centre-back was quoted as
saying in an interview.

He insisted that Suarez will be a player to watch out for next season and his partnership with Carroll will be superb.

of season but for years to come,” the veteran concluded.
