Is my betta sick?

Hi, i have been having some troubles with my red betta fish that i bought about 3 months ago. While I was in a soccer tournament my mom said that she went upstairs to feed my betta and it was lying upside down floating at the top at the tank and she was nice enough to leave it in there so I could flush him but when we arrived back at my house, i touched the fish and he started moving again, after my mom took me out to buy another one(the same one but in blue)lol.

Now, my red betta hasn't been doing to well the last couple of days: his face is starting to turn white, sometimes i find him resting on his plants, he doesn't move much, and the worst part is that he doesn't eat anything! He hasn't been eating for about a week now. Please help!

  1. Your Betta is constipated. The first thing to do is to purge him for a day or two (no food, bettas can go quite a few days without eating and be ok). If no change, then give hime a green pea. I use a frozen pea and run it under hot water then just break it up . He will eat it after a day or so of not eating. The pea will make him p**p!!! Also the pea is great for his immune system. But in the future, offer your betta a variey of foods, not just pellets. ie; blood worms, brine shrimp, ect....IN MODERATION
