It was Georgina Moffatt who is the daughter of Peter Davidson who played The  fifth Doctor between 1981-1984.

At the moment she's appearing in Spooks code 9 on BBC3 and I have it on good authority that she will be back on Doctor Who in series 5 in 2010.

A young actor named Georgia Moffett. Great actor, although she auditioned for a smaller role in 'The Unicorn and The Wasp' she didn't make it. It wasn't until a few months later that she was able to land the role of the Doctor's daughter.

Georgia Moffett played Jenny, the Doctor's daughter. She is the real life daughter of Peter Davison who played the 5th Doctor in the original series. David Troughton, she is the second child of an actor who played the Doctor to have a speaking role in the series.

She had originally tried out for the part of Rose but creators felt that having a child of one of the original actors would make the show appear cheesy, so the role was cast with Billie Piper instead.

There are now rumors flying about that Jenny will make a return in the 5th season and join the Doctor in a few adventures.
