IS it okey for Guys to read yaoi manga?

coz for me coz I never own one and I sometimes hate to read online I'm planning to buy one like junjo romantica mild shonen ai not hardcore yaoi ....kindah creeps me out is it okey for me to read one

I'm not g*y or Bi i'm just a fan of reading one!

Sure it's ok. I know a guy who said he doens't mind reading yaoi, mainly because the men are so girly, and it doesn't bother him.

Yes, it is OK. Since, it is shonen-ai and not hardocre yaoi it is OK. It's like reading a romantic novel about two g*y guys or watching a movie about 2 g*y guys. It does not make u g*y. It all depends on how good the story is, it shouldn't matter whether there is a heterosexual couple or homosexual couple. Does it mean that everyone who watched "Brokeback Mountain" is g*y? No! It's the same thing with this too really...

absolutely. theres nothing wrong with a guy reading yaoi. read want you want and s***w the people who think you should only read the right things.

i think it's okay to guys to read it just like it's okay for girls to read yuri.....if u know ur not g*y then ur not if u think looking at g*y material will turn u g*y and u are uncomfortable with being g*y then i suggest don't read it

Erm... but fair warning... the Junjou Romantica Anime is mild shounen ai.... but the manga is more hardcore... it's really good!! But if you don't liek hardcore stuff then I suggest you don't read it. ^^"

Personally I would recommend something more liek Gravitation or Eerie Queerie if you liek Shounen Ai.... but it's up to you. >_>

I see no reason why a guy could not read yaoi.  You should be able to read whatever you like.  Don't worry about reading on line either.  

Even though it is considered to be "yaoi", I think you are right in calling Junjou Romantica more like mild shonen-ai.  Regardless, it is a great Anime and I like it very much.  I will be honest and say that I have not read all the manga yet, but have read some.  So far, I love what I have read.  You can read it on line:

Right now, there are only 12 episodes up, but once the season hiatus is over, we should see more episodes on line.  You can watch the raw (Japanese voices only) or the sub-titled episodes.

Sure, as the story is what is compelling. I will direct you towards Gorgeous Carat, as it has a very interesting story
