I just got a '08 Porsche 911, but since golf clubs don't fit in, I'm thinking of trading in for a BMW 650/M6

I've been a long time Porsche 911 owners since 2001, and a black Corvette. I'm tired of small 2 seater that has tiny trunk space, and yet ended up getting another 911 this year. I test drove the BMW 6 series and M6 prior to the Porsche purchase, and loved the ride and spacious interior and trunk space. But it's still a BMW. People around me say that 650 or M6 is no match with the brand name Porsche 911. I ended up getting the Vette and 911 at the same time when I got tired of driving a 4 door Mercedes E class sedan for about 10 years. '08 Porsche 911 or BMW 650 or M6? It's a tough one.

  1. The M6 is probably one of my favorite cars, but so are the 911's. If you put the clubs in your passenger seat in the 911, it may work, but I guess if you need the space, the M6 is pretty sweet. Bigger engine, v10 I believe. You've had the fun with the Porsche, go tear it up with the Beamer.

  2. go for the Beamer if you need the space.  the Porsche is definitely a bi**c getter though.  if were in your position I'd wouldn't get either.  I'd get a 67 camaro with a 454 4 on the floor, with 350 posi rear end.  in forest green with ghost stripes.  but that's me.   but if you a "professional"  you probably shouldn't get a muscle car it might ruin your "image".  sorry im just rambling now.  I admire you because you have nice cars.  I'll trade you my 91' Brougham Caddi for your Vette, then you'd have PLENTY of trunk space!!
