Ottis Gibson has been in charge of England’s fast bowlers since September 2007, when he was named as the temporary replacement for Allan Donald. Just a month later he was given the role on a permanent basis. As of the end of January 2010, the ECB had given Gibson permission to talk to the West Indies Cricket Board regarding the vacant head coaching role.
