Have you ever bought anything from a charity shop?

I am a proper bargain hunter. I've bought kids clothes, bric-a-brac, books and toys etc. When I get fed up with stuff or the kids grow out of the clothes then I donate them straight back.

  1. I am a volunteer worker in a charity shop and there are some good bargains to be had if you look around.

    Many of the clothes are of well-known labels e.g. Next, Planet, Windsmoor, Monsoon, River Island, Evans (Essence) etc.,

  3. Books are something I always buy from charity shops.  I donate more than I buy to be honest, but not for a specific reason.

  6. I got my wedding dress from a charity shop, and it was just as good as a new one.

I once bought a reliant k car from charity motors in detroit,40 k original miles,It was donated by an old woman who was too old to drive anymore and kept spotless and rarely used,best running car i ever had!I go to our local st vincents alot and usually find a deal or two and i always give the stuff back when i get done with it too
