Have England turned the corner?

England’s 30-17 victory against Wales on Sunday was a morale-boosting victory for Martin Johnson’s side. Is it a result which proved they’ve turned the corner?

It may be slightly premature to suggest they’ve turned the corner – after all, they did only beat a below-par Wales side. Saying that, though, there were notable improvements; not least with the starting XV. Johnson experimented and it duly paid off. A victory in their next match against Italy would be a sure sign that changes have been successfully implemented.
