Why is the Irishman missing the Wales Open?

    Padraig Harrington will have an operation on his knee after contesting this week's BMW PGA Championship. Recovery from the operation means Harrington will need to skip the Wales Open at the beginning of June. The procedure is apparently a fairly minor, precautionary one.
