  2. what the h**l does the gym have to do with ink? i am totally covered and i do tats. all i suggest is keep a towel handy to keep sweat from running down, i assume you still have it covered so the bandage will soak up additional sweat. it will be scabbed over an unable to sweat through it. change the bandage later applying more polysprin.

  3. if your artist did a decent job on your tattoo it really is a lot harder to mess it up than people make it seem like. put some lotion on beforehand, wipe the sweat off of it in between exercises and you'll be fine. it's going to get cracked and nasty regardless of what you do that's just how it heals. the only thing you shouldn't do is force it to peal off before it's ready to.

  4. It might hurt.

  5. I have 4 tattoos and i left it about 2 days before going back. i had a bit of a problem with my clothes rubbing against the new tattoos but it was more of annoyance so if it would bother you try a bandage or something to cover it.

i didn't find any problems other than that. Although the one of my foot did bleed. But yours in on your chest so you should be fine!

  6. I would wait a few more days. Atleast until it starts scabbing. You don't want to force it  to scab and then have the ink peel out. But if you keep it moist, it might be okay.

  7. You should not exercise for at least the 1st 3 days if possible. You really should be very very careful about this until it is completely healed  2 -4 wks. Sweat isn't good, expanding and contracting the skin is very bad, twisting and wrinkling the skin is bad. You will cause problems in the healing, and you could cause line blowout. Also, you should be careful about showering - no direct streams of water, antibacterial soap only, no wash cloths or towels, (clean paper towel only)... etc.

To be honest, because of my tattoo adventure over the summer, I have really cut back on my exercises and no swimming or sun, but you do what you gotta do for the tattoo once you've made the commitment.

Just be careful, put a little more lotion before the workout to protect it and don't do anything that may stress it, and keep it clean.

I am just now getting back on track with my workouts, and I am hoping to get in one swim before it's to late. But my tats look great! And now it is just sunblock forever.

Do what is best for your tattoo, and modify everything else during aftercare.

    good luck
