Germany coach Joachim Low insists http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Neuer-c23424 transfer saga should end – Bundesliga news
German national team coach Joachim Low has insisted that Manuel Neuer’s transfer saga should end now and both Bayern Munich and Schalke 04 should come to a decision. He stated that the situation has already been prolonged which could eventually affect the
player’s performances.
Manuel Neuer’s current contract with his boyhood club, Schalke 04, ends next summer and the goalkeeper refused to sign an extension to his existing deal following Die Knappen’s poor domestic season. They finished 14th on the Bundesliga table and
just avoided relegation by four points. Bayern Munich revealed their interest in signing the German International and a tug of war has ensued between the two clubs ever since.
Low stated that the whole saga could affect the player’s performances in the upcoming International matches. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Azerbaijan-c2845
respectively next month.
The manager insisted that an early decision on the part of both clubs could have been better for the player and hopes that the situation is cleared in the coming days.
“I'm sure Manuel will not be affected by the renewal of this tug of war. Of course, it would be good if there was an early decision. Sure, one would hope that it would be decided at some point. But Manuel Neuer cannot wait long on a decision or it will affect
his performance,” the German was quoted as saying in an interview.
He further added that it is now in the hands of Bayern Munich and Schalke where Neuer plays his football next season. It is reported that Schalke are asking for a transfer fee which the Bavarian giants are not willing to offer.
“Where http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-c23383 plays in the coming season is now in the hands of the clubs,” the manager concluded.
Manuel Neuer has made 199 appearances for Die Knappen in five seasons with the first-team squad. The goalkeeper played a pivotal role in Schalke’s brilliant run in the UEFA Champions League this season as they reached the semi-finals, eventually losing to
Manchester United.
