Does purple drank (cough syrup+sprite) give the same effect w/ OTC cough syrup as the perscrition codiene one?

I wanna make some but i wanna know if i can do it with Over the counter stuff like Robitussin and it'l give me the same feeling as the perscribed codiene kind.

yes you can buy nurofine plus 12 mg of codine per pill, OVER THE COUNTER!
or
panadine forte prescribtion 30 mg OF CODINE PER PILL!
or
panadine OTC has 8 mg of codine per pill!

you can still use this drug with out the cough syrup!!!

crush up the pills nice and finely cut
