Does Malouda deserve more respect?

Chelsea winger Florent Malouda scored his eighth goal of the season last night against Everton, but often attracts criticism for a supposed lack of quality. Is this really deserved?

Malouda is underappreciated by a proportion of the Stamford Bridge faithful, but certainly not by manager Carlo Ancelotti. The France winger gives Chelsea some much needed width and has chipped in with his fair share of goals and assists this season.
