Can I freeze cooked green bean casserole?

Just wondering if I could freeze for later. Plan on making some here soon.

You could but the crunchiness of the fried onion rings will not be there. Perhaps you can freeze, then thaw, and before you serve it place the remaining onion rings on top and place in oven to get the crunchy topping... if that is the recipe I assume you are making.

To use frozen casserole: Completely thaw in the refrigerator. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Cover and bake at 350°F for 60-65 minutes or until heated through. Uncover and sprinkle with french-fried onions; bake 5 minutes longer.
