Billiards masse and jump?

i would really like to know how to do a masse : where the cue ball rolls in a direction than suddenly stops and goes the opposite. If there is a instructional site that teach me how to do that.

  3. jumps are pretty easy especially with a jump cue.Masses are a little more difficult you have to have a good stroke to do both.Look on you tube there is some instructional videos on this subject.

    A masse shot can almost be thought of as a vertical draw shot. You hold your cue perpendicular (or close to it) to the table and hit down on the cue ball near the miscue circle, usually with great force. You can actually get a decent masse with a quick jab and without hitting your tip into the cloth.

    Always chalk up and make sure you have the room owners permission before practicing. Watch some videos and take note of the angle I'm holding the cue stick at. If you need more details, email me.
