I went there is X mas and thought I saw something like a mine that you could ski in. Is there anything like that any where?

I have never heard of such a thing.  Sounds crazy though.

At BC and Vail there are "Kid's Zones" where they have tunnels and stuff.  Fun stuff for the kids.  That's probably what you saw.
