http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295, as the player is one of the most unorthodox players to handle on the pitch.
The midfielder went on to play in the game against Arsenal this past weekend, and he managed to score the equalizing goal, which helped the Toffees pick up a point from the game against the Gunners.
That goal scored by the Belgian international is his seventh of the season, which just goes to show how important the towering player has become for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019.
Arteta, who is a former Everton player himself has gone on to explain just how hard it is to take care of Fellaini on the pitch, while preventing him from getting a lot of space to create magic from.
"Fellaini is one of the most difficult midfielders to play against because of his size," Arteta told reporters.
"You don't normally come up against players like that in that position.”
"He creates a lot of problems, uses his size well and is a threat around the goal – as you can see from his goals.”
"When he's used in that forward position around the box it is much more difficult to play against him.”
"For me, he is much more efficient playing there than when he is deeper. I have seen a tremendous improvement in Fellaini, especially in that forward position."
Following his move to Arsenal, Arteta has gone from being an attack minded midfielder, to a more box to box one, who sits back and pulls the strings on the pitch, while laying well behind his team mates.
Given the fact that Arteta isn’t one of the biggest players around, he has still managed to go on and impress to a great extent so far.
However, despite the player being a professional and playing to the best of his abilities, in the game against Everton it became apparent that he wasn’t the best suited player to play in the holding position on the pitch.
Nonetheless, it is now a wait to see just what the future holds in store for Arteta at the Emirates.
