  1. The oats in luna bars are not gluten-free.  They aren't tested and can be assumed to have a substantial level of cross contamination with other gluten grains.

Lara bars are all gluten-free.  I think all of the Clif Nectar bars are GF.  Many boomi bars are GF, too.

  2. Technically it has no wheat ...  but many Celiac's are sensitive to soy, oats, and malt (all three are ingredients, oats and malt are close cousins to wheat) ...  so it depends on if you are one of the sensitive ones or not ...

I can handle soy, but if I have had any wheat all I can't have the other 2 ...  if I have been really careful for several weeks, then they don't "seem" to cause a reaction for me ...

I have found that celiac's can be a little different for the individual ...

if you want to email me for some of the sites I get information from and that I order snack foods and stuff from, feel free to ...(sassy_shrugg@yahoo.com)

  3. Gluten is the protein of wheat, rye, barley, and grain. Oats are ok for most people with celiacs disease, but cause a reaction in some. And if it's processed on the same machines as wheat, etc then it can get contaminated.
