The girls in Costa Rica (known as Tica's) are beautiful but a personal warning.  Some of them are gold diggers are you need to be careful and picky.  Some girls make take opportunity of you as you have money to them and most of Costa Rica (over 90%) is poor and they are not use to the simple luxuries you and I take for grantidid.  However if you generally like a tica then ask her on a date and they will take care of you very well and are nice nice people.

Watch out for the whores as they are known to work over the gringo's.  To meet a nice girl in Costa Rica it is sometimes best to stay clear on the bars at night and meet them while you are going out for a swim, shopping, or having a coffee.
