My daughter is 23 months old. About 3 week ago I noticed in her toddler room all her friends were gone. So I asked the teacher what happen to everyone and she told me they moved up to the explores classroom. So I took my daughter to that room to visit her friends and told the director I would like for her to go over there to visit off and on a couple of times a day. The following Monday I went to drop her off at daycare and she cried when I left. I didn't think anything if it because she has had moments like that before. Well it went on all week every morning the same thing. So I ask the director and she told me about Separation Anxiety. I am thinking it is because of the change that has her so shaken up. Is this normal? Will she get better? We stopped taking her to the other room for now until we can figure this out. Anyone went thru something like this. Thanks

  1. She will be normal. If she misses her freinds tell her that all she has to do is tell the director.

  2. It's normal.  She'll get over it as soon as she's used to it.  Just leave.  Don't pay attention to the crying. JUst go.  It's better you don't coddle and buy into the crying fits.
