eye for goal so he could turn out to be a brilliant signing for the club.
The boss added that Sio can play in many different positions which include a role as a central striker and also as a second striker.
“Giovanni Sio is a highly talented attacking player who has forced himself into the limelight over the past two years. He is physically a strong runner and dangerous shooting from distance. He can play as a centre forward or come
through as a central midfielder behind the front men,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Schalke manager stated that the Ivorian has no injury problems and is in a good condition. He admitted that there will be some work to do on the player so that he gets used to the kind of football played in the Bundesliga
which will be easy.
“Physically he is in good condition. We now have to work him into the Bundesliga,” he concluded.
